Herein presented supraparticles combine the nanoparticulate photocatalyst graphitic carbon nitride with the enzyme horseradish peroxidase, which is immobilized on silica nanoparticles. In an optimized compatibility range, both catalysts operate effectively within the hybrid supraparticles and catalyze a cascade reaction consisting of the photocatalytic

Melting Point, Boiling Point, and Symmetry
Pharmaceutical Research, 1990The relationship between the melting point of a compound and its chemical structure remains poorly understood. The melting point of a compound can be related to certain of its other physical chemical properties. The boiling point of a compound can be determined from additive constitutive properties, but the melting point can be estimated only with the ...

How ice ‘melts’ below its melting point
Physics World, 2005Water is the most important chemical substance on Earth, but there is still much that we do not understand about it. Everyone knows that ice melts when it is heated above 273 K or 0°C at atmospheric pressure, and that liquid water freezes when it is cooled below this temperature.

Boiling points and melting points
2018Abstract An analysis of the colligative properties of the elevation of the boiling point and depression of the freezing point. A unique feature of this chapter is the analysis of the depression of the freezing point, which is subtly – but importantly – different from, and much more logical than, the analysis presented in many other texts.
