Antinociceptive activity of methanolic extract of Muntingia calabura leaves: further elucidation of the possible mechanisms [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Background: Muntingia calabura (Elaecoparceae) is a medicinal plant traditionally used, particularly, by the Peruvian people to alleviate headache and cold, pain associated with gastric ulcers or to reduce the prostate gland swelling.

Amelioration of paracetamol-induced hepatotoxicity in rat by the administration of methanol extract of Muntingia calabura L. leaves [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Muntingia calabura L. is a tropical plant species that belongs to the Elaeocarpaceae family. The present study is aimed at determining the hepatoprotective activity of methanol extract of M. calabura leaves (MEMC) using two models of liver injury in rats.

鄂尔多斯地块北部及邻区Pn波速度结构与各向异性

open access: yesDizhen xuebao, 2020

The Complexity of Reasoning for Fragments of Autoepistemic Logic [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Autoepistemic logic extends propositional logic by the modal operator L. A formula that is preceded by an L is said to be "believed". The logic was introduced by Moore 1985 for modeling an ideally rational agent's behavior and reasoning about his own ...

Spatial Distribution of Rn, CO2, Hg, and H2 Concentrations in Soil Gas Across a Thrust Fault in Xinjiang, China

open access: yesFrontiers in Earth Science, 2020
Spatial distribution characteristics and origin of soil gasses were discussed in this study. We also examine the correlation between the spatial variation of soil gasses and fault activity, based on the measurements of Rn, Hg, H2, and CO2 concentrations ...

Characterization of the Bond between Textile Reinforced Cement and Extruded Polystyrene by Shear Tests

open access: yesProceedings, 2018
Loadbearing sandwich panels used as wall elements are a promising development since they combine structural and energy efficiency. Composite behaviour needs to be ensured so that the sandwich panel works as one element under a flexural load (meaning that

No saturation of the quantum Bogomolnyi bound by two-dimensional supersymmetric solitons [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
We reanalyse the question whether the quantum Bogomolnyi bound is saturated in the two-dimensional supersymmetric kink and sine-Gordon models. Our starting point is the usual expression for the one-loop correction to the mass of a soliton in terms of ...
