A variable bandwidth memristor‐based Legendre Optimum low pass filter for radio frequency applications

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 4, Issue 11, November 2022., 2022
This article presents the enhancement of Legendre Optimum LPF in terms of reusability and bandwidth, based on the programmable memristance of memristors. Results show a bandwidth enhancement of up to 540 at 600 kHz, and up to 100 at 110 MHz. A reusable, cost‐effective, variable bandwidth filter is achieved from the original fixed bandwidth filter ...

Spice modelling of a tri‐state memristor and analysis of its series and parallel characteristics

open access: yesIET Circuits, Devices &Systems, Volume 16, Issue 1, Page 81-91, January 2022., 2022
Abstract Memristors are passive non‐linear circuit components with memory characteristics, and have been recognized as the fourth basic circuit component, along with resistors, capacitors, and inductors. It has been nearly half a century since the conceptualisation of the memristor, and related research has mainly focussed on the two aspects of binary ...

Detecting Boosting Weak Signal via A Meminductive Multistable Chaotic System

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics, 2022
In this paper, we rebuild a new meminductive chaotic circuit model based on a Wien-bridge oscillator. Due to the extreme multistability of the meminductive system, it can produce the phenomenon of many infinitely coexisting attractors.

A Meminductor-based Chaotic System

open access: yesInformation Technology and Control, 2020
We propose a meminductor-based chaotic system. Theoretical analysis and numerical simulations reveal complex dynamical behaviors of the proposed meminductor-based chaotic system with five unstable equilibrium points and three different states of chaotic attractors in its phase trajectory with only a single change in circuit parameter.

AC power analysis for second-order memory elements

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics, 2023
As the product of a circuit’s voltage and current, apparent power (S) is of paramount necessity and importance in electrical utilities, electronics, communication, and neural network systems.

Circuit Elements With Memory: Memristors, Memcapacitors, and Meminductors [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the IEEE, 2009
We extend the notion of memristive systems to capacitive and inductive elements, namely capacitors and inductors whose properties depend on the state and history of the system. All these elements show pinched hysteretic loops in the two constitutive variables that define them: current-voltage for the memristor, charge-voltage for the memcapacitor, and ...

Novel Floating and Grounded Memory Interface Circuits for Constructing Mem-Elements and Their Applications

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Memory elements (known as mem-elements) include memristor, memcapacitor and meminductor. They are considered the keys to developing the new generation of intelligent and neuromorphic devices.

Analysis of Memreactance with Fractional Kinetics

open access: yesMathematical Problems in Engineering, Volume 2020, Issue 1, 2020., 2020
In this work, the analysis of the memreactance, i.e., meminductor and memcapacitor, with fractional‐order kinetics has been proposed. The meminductances, memcapacitances, and related parameters due to both DC and periodic input waveforms have been derived. The behavioral analysis has been thoroughly performed with the aid of numerical simulation.

Hidden Multistability in a Memristor‐Based Cellular Neural Network

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics, Volume 2020, Issue 1, 2020., 2020
In this paper, we report a novel memristor‐based cellular neural network (CNN) without equilibrium points. Dynamical behaviors of the memristor‐based CNN are investigated by simulation analysis. The results indicate that the system owns complicated nonlinear phenomena, such as hidden attractors, coexisting attractors, and initial boosting behaviors of ...
