Supernova Remnant Shock - Molecular Cloud Interactions: Masers as tracers of hadronic particle acceleration [PDF]
We review the class of galactic supernova remnants which show strong interactions with molecular clouds, revealed through shock-excited hydroxyl masers. These remnants are preferentially found among the known GeV and TeV detections of supernova remnants. It has been argued that the masers trace out the sites of hadronic particle acceleration.

Caminos de Dyck contenidos en un diagrama de Ferrers [PDF]
We consider the problem of counting subset of Dyck paths contained in a Ferrers diagram. This enumeration concerns to find the number of the elements in a branch of the Kr\'ew\'eras tree. Using the Ferrers diagrams associated with Dyck paths, we have developed methods of comparison and decomposition diagrams to obtain enumerative formulas in terms of ...

Why do only some Radio Galaxies acquire giant Sizes? [PDF]
We study the morphology of the radio emission of giant radio galaxies (GRGs), a rare type of active galaxies, in order to find new clues for the reasons of their large size. Using radio images from two sky surveys at 1.4 GHz we quantified their radio morphology by measuring the geometry (armlength, bending angle, etc.) and flux symmetry for 58 such ...

A Search for double-lobed radio emission from Galactic Stars and Spiral Galaxies [PDF]
We present a systematic search for two types of very unusual astronomical objects: Galactic stars and spiral galaxies with double radio lobes, i.e. radio emission on opposite sides of the optical object, suggesting the ejection of jets from them. We designed an algorithm to search for pairs of radio sources straddling objects from two unprecedented ...

A Further Search for Galactic Stars with Double Radio Lobes [PDF]
Over a thousand stars in our Galaxy have been detected as radio emitters, but no normal stars are known to possess radio-emitting lobes similar to radio galaxies. Several recent attempts by us and other authors to find such objects remained inconclusive. Here we present a further search for double-lobed radio stars in two large samples of spectroscopic
