Titian's Bacchus and His Two Loves

The little satyr's identity, recognized in the seventeenth century, but overlooked by modern scholars, is confirmed by newly revealed ...

Fernando Chavez Rivas, Jose M. Rivera Rebolledo, Jose Luis Gonzalez Ramirez), pp. 50-56, 1999
We derive the second-order equations in the (1/2,0)+(0,1/2) representation on using the Ryder postulates. Similar equations has been proposed in the 60s and the 70s in order to understand different mass states of leptons. We give some additional discernments to this problem.

Avian seed dispersal out of the forests: A view through the lens of Pleistocene landscapes

open access: yesJournal of Ecology, Volume 113, Issue 3, Page 510-517, March 2025.
Many European woody species are light‐demanding and fail to regenerate in the shaded interiors of temperate forests. Most of these species are dispersed by frugivorous and seed‐caching birds. The spatial patterns of avian seed dispersal in fragmented anthropogenic landscapes are congruent with an ecological and evolutionary history with open and semi ...

Counting states in the Bousso-Polchinski Landscape [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2009
Starting from an exact counting of small and positive cosmological constant states in the Bousso-Polchinski Landscape we recover a well-known approximate formula and a systematic method of improvement by means of the Poisson summation formula. This is a contribution to the special Volume published by the University of Zaragoza in honor of Julio Abad ...
