La familia Menispermaceae es reconocida en el Perú por presentar 15 géneros y 75 especies (Brako & Zarucchi, 1993; Ulloa Ulloa et al., 2004), principalmente lianas y bejucos. En este trabajo reconocemos cuatro especies endémicas en tres géneros.
