A new concept of cotreatment with human growth hormone and menotropins in ovulation induction protocols

Medical Hypotheses, 1997
Follicular development in the primordial and preantral stages is almost completely independent of gonadotrophins or steroids and is mainly dependent on growth factors and local regulators. Since human growth hormone (hGH) was found to facilitate ovarian response to gonadotrophin stimulation, we hypothesized that the administration of hGH in an ...

Bilateral Simultaneous Tubal Pregnancies After Ovulation Induction with Clomiphene-Menotropin Combination

Fertility and Sterility, 1977
A case is presented of bilateral simultaneous tubal pregnancy after ovulation induction with a clomiphene-menotropin combination. Although extremely rare in the general population, the entity of simultaneous pregnancies is far more common with ovulation induction. Care must be taken not to mistake an extrauterine pregnancy for a hyperstimulated ovary.

Flexible menotropins initiation after long-acting gonadotropin-releasing hormone analog

Fertility and Sterility, 1989
The results of both groups, the one with hMG postponement and the one without, were similar in respect to the amount of hMG needed, number of oocytes retrieved, quality of embryos, pregnancy, and abortion rates. The flexible hMG commencement lowers the cancellation rate to a minimum.

A comparison of clomiphene/menotropins and D-Trp6-LH-RH/menotropins cycles of IVF-ET in the same patients.

International journal of fertility, 1991
Pituitary suppression by long-acting D-Trp6-LH-RH and concomitant hMG ovarian stimulation for in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer (ET) has been used in 19 patients who previously failed to conceive, following ovarian stimulation by clomiphene citrate and hMG. When available, up to five embryos were transferred.
