Magnetically Responsive Piezoelectric Nanocapacitors Enhance Neural Recovery Following Spinal Cord Injury via Targeted Spinal Magnetic Stimulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 13, 3 March 2026.
This study presents a novel “in vivo–in vitro” therapeutic strategy for spinal cord injury by leveraging magnetically responsive piezoelectric nanomaterials. These nanomaterials enable targeted delivery of localized electrical stimulation at the injury site through noninvasive external magnetic actuation, thereby promoting axonal regeneration and ...

Immunoaffinity‐Mimetic Assembly of Peptide‐Aptamer Conjugates and Stem Cell‐Derived Exosomes into Hierarchical Microgels for Spinal Cord Injury Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 16, 18 March 2026.
Inspired by antibody‐antigen binding, this study develops an unprecedented immunoaffinity‐mimetic assembly strategy, with Peptide‐AptCD63 conjugates acting as antibody surrogates binding CD63 epitopes on mesenchymal stem cell‐derived exosomes. This creates a hierarchical microstructure intended to synergistically integrate antioxidative and anti ...

Microendovascular Neural Recording from Cortical and Deep Vessels with High Precision and Minimal Invasiveness

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, Volume 8, Issue 3, March 2026.
Intravascular electroencephalography (ivEEG) using micro‐intravascular electrodes was developed. Cortical‐vein ivEEG showed a higher signal‐to‐noise ratio and finer spatial resolution of somatosensory evoked potentials (SEPs) than superior sagittal sinus ivEEG, and deep‐vein ivEEG captured clear visual evoked potentials.

Is Navigated Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Capable of Detecting Different Motor Cell Clusters Within the Precentral Gyrus Using a Single Pulse Protocol?

open access: yesBrain and Behavior, Volume 16, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Objective In 2021, Rossi et al. developed a cortical mapping algorithm that enabled a reliable mapping of an anatomical subdivision of the precentral gyrus. This approach allowed for the differentiation between an anterior subregion, characterized by lower excitability and slower motor responses, and a posterior subregion (named “M1 proper ...
