Simultaneously Boosting Freshwater Productivity and Antifouling Efficacy of Membrane Distillation Through In Situ Micro‐Bubble Generation

A superhydrophobic functional coating composed of γ‐MnO2 and perfluorodecyltrichlorosilane (FDTS) is capable of decomposing H2O2 and generating in situ micro‐bubbles on the membrane surface. The dynamic bubbles intensify the turbulence, enhancing the heat and mass transfer during membrane distillation (MD).
