Dysregulated TCA cycle contributes to Alzheimer's disease (AD) pathogenesis. Here, we show that microglial isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 (IDH1) is a critical driver. Elevated IDH1 disrupts citrate metabolism and mitochondrial function, exacerbating AD pathology.

Removal of Mercury from Aqueous Environments Using Polyurea-Crosslinked Calcium Alginate Aerogels
The removal of mercury(II) from aquatic environments using polyurea-crosslinked calcium alginate (X-alginate) aerogels was investigated through batch-type experiments, focusing on low mercury concentrations (50–180 μg·L−1), similar to those found in ...

Synaptic κ‐Ga2O3 Photodetectors for Privacy‐Enhancing Neuromorphic Computing
We report on a single‐element neuromorphic sensor based on the persistent photoconductivity (PPC) of κ‐phase Ga2O3 capable of sensing ultraviolet light and harnessing intrinsic data privacy. The approach establishes a materials‐enabled pathway toward compact, intelligent, and privacy‐enhancing optoelectronic hardware for next‐generation edge systems ...
