Monthly average aerosol optical depth at 320 nm obtained with a Brewer MKIII spectrophotometer for Hobart, Australia (42.8806° S, 147.3250° E) over a 21‐year period. There is a linear trend of 15.4% per decade. There are 9 months when the average aerosol optical depth exceeds twice the monthly standard deviation.

Evaluating the transferability of empirical models of debris-covered glacier melt
Supraglacial debris is significant in many regions and complicates modeling of glacier melt, which is required for predicting glacier change and its influences on hydrology and sea-level rise.

Abstract Objectives We evaluated the efficacy and safety of teduglutide in a real‐world cohort in which national reimbursement policies required treatment interruptions. The primary outcomes were reduction in parenteral support (PS) and treatment‐related adverse effects, and the secondary outcome was the impact of the mandated withdrawal periods ...

The International Mass Loading Service [PDF]
The International Mass Loading Service computes four loadings: a) atmospheric pressure loading; b) land water storage loading; c) oceanic tidal loading; and d) non-tidal oceanic loading. The service provides to users the mass loading time series in three

Observed Tightening of Tropical Ascent in Recent Decades and Linkage to Regional Precipitation Changes [PDF]
Climate models predict that the tropical ascending region should tighten under global warming, but observational quantification of the tightening rate is limited.

Permafrost Variability over the Northern Hemisphere Based on the MERRA-2 Reanalysis [PDF]
Abstract. This study introduces and evaluates a comprehensive, model-generated dataset of Northern Hemisphere permafrost conditions. Surface meteorological forcing fields from the Modern-Era Retrospective Analysis for Research and Applications-2 (MERRA-2) reanalysis data were used to drive an improved version of the land component of MERRA-2 in middle ...
