Anticipating Knowledge Applicability in Open Science Through Recycling, Mimicking, and Shortcutting
ABSTRACT Open science literature scrutinizes how organizations provide access to knowledge. Yet, much less is known about how organizations pursuing open science for societal impact anticipate knowledge applicability—that shared knowledge is reusable for other organizations and individuals, and enables open social innovation.

Compared to convalescent individuals, post‐COVID‐19 patients showed increased IgG antibody reactivity in plasma to both a specific central region (amino acids 405–419) and glycine–alanine repeat sequences of EBV EBNA1. The sequences of the central region differ from those associated with molecular mimicry in multiple sclerosis patients.

Genomic Validation of PERV‐C‐Free Pigs to Support Xenotransplantation
ABSTRACT Porcine endogenous retroviruses (PERVs) are present in the germ lines of domesticated pigs (Sus scrofa) and related suids. There are three types of PERVs, PERV‐A, ‐B, and ‐C, which differ in their host range. PERV‐A and ‐B can infect human and porcine cells, while PERV‐C only infects porcine cells. PERV‐A and ‐B are found in the genomes of all
