On Generalized p-Mersenne Numbers

open access: yes, 2021
In this paper, we introduce the generalized p-Mersenne sequence and deal with, in detail, two special cases, namely, p-Mersenne and p-Mersenne-Lucas-sequences.

Sum of Squares of ‘m’ Consecutive Woodall Numbers

open access: yesمجلة بغداد للعلوم, 2023
This paper discusses the Sums of Squares of “m” consecutive Woodall Numbers. These discussions are made from the definition of Woodall numbers. Also learn the comparability of Woodall numbers and other special numbers.

ON THE LARGEST PRIME FACTOR OF THE MERSENNE NUMBERS [PDF]

open access: yesBulletin of the Australian Mathematical Society, 2009
AbstractLetP(k) be the largest prime factor of the positive integerk. In this paper, we prove that the seriesis convergent for each constantα<1/2, which gives a more precise form of a result of C. L. Stewart [‘On divisors of Fermat, Fibonacci, Lucas and Lehmer numbers’,Proc. London Math. Soc.35(3) (1977), 425–447].

The Challenge of Time‐to‐Event Analysis for Multiple Events: A Guided Tour From Time‐to‐First‐Event to Recurrent Time‐to‐Event Analysis

open access: yesBiometrical Journal, Volume 68, Issue 1, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Clinical trials often compare a treatment to a control group concerning multiple possible combined time‐to‐event endpoints like hospital‐free survival. Thereby, the first endpoint may occur more than once (“recurrent”), whereas the second endpoint is absorbing. Inclusion of all observed events in the analysis can increase the power and provide

Perfect and Mersenne Numbers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
U ovom radu proučavamo Mersenneove i savršene brojeve. Kažemo da je prirodan broj N savršen ako je σ(N) = 2N, gdje je σ(N) suma pravih djelitelja broja N.

The emergence of the Mersenne Star: a new geometry of prime numbers bridging physics and artificial general intelligence

open access: yesArab Journal of Basic and Applied Sciences
This paper introduces a new key geometric way to understand Mersenne prime numbers. It discovers a shape called the Mersenne Star, which appears naturally from a special sequence named the Quanta Prime Sequence (QPS).

FPGA Realization of a Novel Hyperchaos Augmented Image Encryption Algorithm

open access: yesIET Computers &Digital Techniques, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
With the rapid growth of multimedia communication, protecting image data has become increasingly critical. This article proposes a novel 3‐stage hyperchaos‐based augmented image encryption technique (3SHAIET) that utilizes a three‐stage process with chaotic systems of increasing dimensionality (e.g., six‐dimensional [6D], 8D, and 9D) to enhance ...

Perfect numbers and Mersenne numbers

open access: yes, 2022
В статті розглянуто натуральні числа та прості числа Мерсенна. Свою назву вони отримали в честь французького ченця Мерена Мерсенна (1588–1648), який займався проблемою досконалих чисел.

Mersenne and Fermat numbers [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1954
The first seventeen even perfect numbers are therefore obtained by substituting these values of n in the expression 2 n-(2n -1). The first twelve of the Mersenne primes have been known since 1914; the twelfth, 21271, was indeed found by Lucas as early as 1876, and for the next seventy-five years was the largest known prime.
