FEA Practical Illustration of Mesh-Quality-Results Differences between Structured Mesh and Unstructured Mesh [PDF]
A reliable design via FEA techniques is highly dependent on the execution of an analysis which is accurate and represents the design precisely. The accuracy and efficiency of the two available methods of meshing of the design components (mapped and free meshing) for finite element analysis are addressed in this paper. This paper intends to clarify that

Background Clinical response to Mycophenolic acid (MPA) is highly heterogeneous; thus, therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) may help improve treatment efficacy. This systematic review and meta‐analysis examined therapeutic ranges for MPA levels associated with better outcomes and safety in patients with SLE, particularly those with extra‐renal ...

ALE-based ductile damage and fracture [PDF]
Mixed methods have been used with success in finite strain elasto-plastic with damage for decades. The subsequent stage is now dealt with enrichment methods, either local such as SDA or global such as XFEM.

ErB4 and NdB4 nanostructured powders are produced by mechanochemical synthesis. 5 h mechanical alloying and 4 M HCl acid leaching are used in the production. ErB4 and NdB4 powders exhibit maximum magnetization of 0.4726 emu g−1 accompanied with an antiferromagnetic‐to‐paramagnetic phase transition at about TN = 18 K and 0.132 emu g−1 with a maximum at ...

Bistable Mechanisms 3D Printing for Mechanically Programmable Vibration Control
This work introduces a 3D‐printed bistable mechanism integrated into tuned mass dampers (TMDs) for mechanically adaptive passive vibration suppression. Through optimized geometry, the bistable design provides adaptable vibration reduction across a broad range of scenarios, achieving effective vibration mitigation without complex controls or external ...

Mesh motion methods for numerical aerodynamic design of lift and control surfaces [PDF]
In this work, moving mesh methods based on the solution of pseudo structural and fluid problems are developed. Mesh motion methods are necessary features for numerical aerodynamic design and test of lift and control surfaces of UAVs.

Improving Triangle Mesh Quality with SurfaceNets [PDF]
Simulation of soft tissue deformation is a critical part of surgical simulation. An important method for this is finite element (FE) analysis. Models for FE analysis are typically derived by extraction of triangular surface meshes from CT or MRI image data.
