Analysis of Meshing Stiffness of Variable Hyperbolic Arc Gear based on Finite Element Method
In order to study the meshing stiffness of variable hyperbolic arc gear, the tooth surface equation of variable hyperbolic arc gear is obtained according to the forming principle, and its accurate three-dimensional model is established.

Hybrid (bolted/bonded) joints applied to aeronautic parts : analytical one-dimensional models of a single-lap joint [PDF]
The load transfer in hybrid (bolted/bonded) single-lap joint is complex due to the association of two different transfer modes (discrete and continuous) through elements with different stiffness.

Gear tooth mesh stiffness: A comparison of calculation approaches
Abstract This work compares spur gear tooth mesh stiffness calculations using two approaches. The first is a common approach from the literature that calculates the mesh stiffness by dividing the mesh force by the mesh deflection, which we call the average slope method.

Local Thermal Conductivity Patterning in Rotating Lattice Crystals of Anisotropic Sb2S3
Microscale control of thermal conductivity in Sb2S3 is demonstrated via laser‐induced rotating lattice crystals. Thermal conductivity imaging reveals marked thermal transport anisotropy, with the c axis featuring amorphous‐like transport, whereas in‐plane directions (a, b) exhibit 3.5x and 1.7x larger thermal conductivity.

Dynamic Analysis of Gear Systems with Dynamic Mesh Stiffness and Time- Varying Bearing Stiffness
Abstract In this study, a novel analytical model for dynamic mesh stiffness of spur gears is developed using variable cross-section beam theory, explicitly accounting for driving speed effects. The dynamic mesh stiffness is determined by applying the modal superposition method to analytical model equations, and subsequently validated using both

Study on the Spalling Fault Degradation Mechanism and Dynamic Model of Gear Tooth Surfaces
Under the action of alternating load, the initial crack on the gear tooth surface would inevitably initiate and gradually evolve into spalling and other faults. It has a serious impact on the transmission system.
