Meshless quadrangulation by global parameterization
Computers & Graphics, 2011Point cloud is a basic description of discrete shape information. Parameterization of unorganized points is important for shape analysis and shape reconstruction of natural objects. In this paper we present a new algorithm for global parameterization of an unorganized point cloud and its application to the meshing of the cloud.

Meshless Methods in Potential Inverse Electrocardiography
2006 International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, 2006Potential inverse electrocardiography (PIE) is a method for reconstruction of epicardial potentials from measured body surface electrocardiograms and heart-torso geometry. The method of choice for computing epicardial potentials has been either the boundary element method (BEM) or the finite element method (FEM).

Comments on the "Meshless Helmholtz-Hodge Decomposition"
IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics, 2013The Helmholtz-Hodge decomposition (HHD) is one of the fundamental theorems of fluids describing the decomposition of a flow field into its divergence-free, curl-free, and harmonic components. Solving for the HHD is intimately connected to the choice of boundary conditions which determine the uniqueness and orthogonality of the decomposition.

Optimised meshless method for acoustics
1999Summary: An element-free Galerkin method is formulated for Helmholtz problem. It is based on a moving least squares method. We show that it is possible to determine the speed of propagation of numerical wave and to tune the parameters of the method in order to minimize the dispersion.

Meshless Statistical Occlusion Computation.
2012This paper presents a new method to evaluate visibility from a point cloud by using a meshless statistical representation. The resulting evaluation uses much less memory than previous work while still producing high quality images, making it suitable for memory limited systems.

Development of a new meshless technique is described, called the meshless volume scheme. The method is completely meshless, yet retains the low storage and simple flux distribution technique characteristic of finite volume methods. The new method is based on the well-known Taylor series expansion method with least squares.
