The influence of vegetation structure on the development of soil mesofauna

Abstract Secondary succession of vegetation and soil mesofauna was followed for several years in 3 replicate experiments on artificially created synchronous successional and recultivated (grass) sites in 1980, 1982 and 1985. O presente estudo objetivou avaliar a diversidade e a abundância da mesofauna edáfica em um sistema agroflorestal sintrópico e de uma área preservada de mata sucessional no agreste alagoano. A coleta do solo foi realizada nos meses de maio de 2022 e abril de 2023 e o método utilizado para extração da mesofauna foi o funil de Berlese-Tullgren modificado.

Im Braunkohlentagebaugebiet der Ville (Nordrhein-Westfalen) werden in Berrenrath ausgekohlte Gruben rekultiviert. Dabei wird der überwiegende Teil der Erdmassen, die zum Abbau der Kohle bewegt worden sind, nach einem Aufarbeitungs- und Vorbereitungsprozeß zur Verfüllung verwendet.

Abstract Data on the soil mesofauna was collected at four sites in the Mariut region, Egypt. The animals were grouped into 17 taxa belong to 10 families, and were statistically treated by diversity indices, correspondence analysis and ascending hierarchic classification.
