Scalar mesons as Q systems with meson-meson admixtures

Nuclear Physics B - Proceedings Supplements, 1991
Abstract The resonances in meson meson scattering and the bound states of quarks andantiquarks are described within the same formalism. Comparison with experiment shows that this strategy is very promising for a detailed study of strong interactions and confinement.

Threshold effects in meson-meson and meson-baryon scattering

AIP Conference Proceedings, 1991
We investigate within a genrealized meson–exchange model meson–meson and meson–baryon scattering. We concentrate our investigations on the behavior of such systems when a new particle channel opens. Specifically we demonstrate these effects at the KK‐threshold in ππ‐scattering and the KN‐threshold in πΣ–scattering.

Deuteronlike meson-meson bound states

AIP Conference Proceedings, 1992
Arguments are summarized for why many of the best non‐qq candidates may be deuteronlike bound states of two vector mesons or KK*. Using pion exchange as a guide for where to look for bound states, only a few deuteronlike meson‐meson resonances are expected. Four of these are likely to be the already seen non‐qq candidates: f1(1420), f2(1520), f0(1590),

Flux-tube rearrangement and meson-meson scattering

Physical Review D, 1988
The strong-coupling Hamiltonian of lattice QCD is applied to meson-meson scattering. We find that flux-tube rearrangement leads to an attractive, nonlocal, insignificant potential between mesons.

Status of Meson-Meson Interaction

1974
The plan of these lectures is as follows: In 1. I shall briefly review the current experimental situation for \(\pi \pi \to \pi \pi ,\pi \pi \to K\overline{K}and{{K}_{\pi }}\to {{K}_{\pi }}\) phase shift analysis; in 2. I shall give an account of some of the dispersion techniques which are evolving for the imposition of crossing symmetry and in 3.
