“Mesonephroma” of the ovary. A report of five cases [PDF]
The clinical and pathologic findings of five cases of “mesonephroma” of the ovary are reported. A discussion of the histogenesis of these lesions is presented. Four of the five cases showed evidence of metastasis. Two of the four cases with metastases died 4 and 8 months after the diagnosis was made.

Abstract A satisfactory classification of ovarian tumors has not yet been established, although much has been accomplished recently by correlating the clinical and pathologic features of these neoplasms. In reviewing over 350 true neoplasms of the ovary, a group of 6 has been separated on the basis of their pathologic characteristics.
