Mesoporous gamma-alumina synthesized by hydro-carboxylic acid as structure-directing agent

open access: yes, 2006
A facile and non-surfactant-templating route is described for preparing mesoporous gamma-aluminas with improved textural properties. In this synthesis, hydro-carboxylic acid (HCA) was used as the structure-directing agent and boehmite sol as the ...

Nanomaterials for Allergy Diagnosis and Treatment: Advances, Opportunities and Translational Challenges

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Nanomaterials offer dual applications in allergy management. For diagnosis, nanomaterials enhance analytical sensitivity and improve detection in specific IgE and functional assays such as the basophil activation test (BAT). For allergen‐specific immunotherapy, nanomaterials enable allergen masking and controlled release, and effectively modulate the ...

Mesoporous thin films of high-surface-area crystalline cerium dioxide

open access: yes, 2002
Mesoporous thin films of cerium dioxide were prepared by using a copolymer surfactant (Pluronics 123) at ambient conditions in alcohol as a solvent. The material was produced via a direct calcination step, without the necessity of a gelling stage.

Front‐Loading Zn2+ via Lattice‐Breathing‐Enabled Early‐Stage Co‐Intercalation for Ultrastable Zn‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study introduces In3+ into δ‐MnO2 to create a lattice breathing effect via a dynamic strain field, which establishes efficient ″ polaronic superhighways″ for charge transport. We uncover an unconventional two‐stage (Zn2+/H+ co‐insertion followed by Zn2+‐dominant) mechanism that enables reversible structural adjustment. This approach simultaneously

Biomimetic Nanoplatform for Dual Target Nano‐Metabolic Therapy in Diabetes‐Associated Biofilm Infections

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A biomimetic GOx/Arg‐loaded nanoplatform produces nitric oxide through an in situ catalytic cascade reaction, enabling dual‐target metabolic regulation in diabetes‐associated biofilm infections. Bacterial metabolism is disrupted, and macrophage immunometabolism is reprogrammed, resulting in biofilm eradication, immune restoration, and enhanced ...

Highly dispersed platinum supported on nitrogen-containing ordered mesoporous carbon for methanol electrochemical oxidation

open access: yes, 2009
Nitrogen-containing ordered mesoporous carbons (NOMCs) characteristic of CMK-3 were nanocasted from mesoporous silica SBA-15 using aniline as carbon precursor. The influence of synthesis condition on the structural parameters of NOMCs were systematically

Inhalable ROS‐Responsive Nanospray Activates PPAR‐γ to Restore Macrophage Mitochondrial Homeostasis and Attenuate Radiation‐Induced Lung Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A nebulized nanoassembly alleviates radiation‐induced lung injury by reprogramming macrophages through coordinated ROS scavenging, NAD+ replenishment, and PPAR‐γ activation. Redox balance, mitochondrial homeostasis, and immune regulation are restored, revealing a microenvironment‐centered strategy for localized radioprotection.
