Impact of Intended Isocaloric Early versus Late Time‐Restricted Eating on Plasma Lipidome in Women with Overweight or Obesity: Secondary Analysis of the ChronoFast Trial

Women with overweight or obesity follow intended isocaloric early and late time‐restricted eating (TRE) in a crossover trial. Shotgun plasma lipidomics reveals no significant differences between interventions, but identify pronounced lipid changes—including reductions in ceramides and phosphatidylcholines—within the early TRE.

Genetic and Functional Evidence Links Germline Biallelic Inactivating Variants in WWOX to Histological Mixed‐Type Thyroid Cancer

The role of germline WWOX loss‐of‐function variants in oncogenesis has remained poorly characterized. This study provides the first comprehensive genetic and functional evidence that such variants promote tumorigenesis through the disruption of multiple tumor‐suppressive mechanisms.

Midkine‐Mediated Microglia Activation after Renal Injury Promotes Cognitive Impairment Following Ischemic Renal Injury

The mechanism of secondary cognitive impairment following AKI. When renal ischemic injury progresses to fibrosis, renal fibroblasts and damaged tubular cells secrete MDK, which circulates through the bloodstream, crosses the damaged BBB, and accumulates in the hippocampus tissue (an area crucial for learning and memory).

Targeted Inhibition of CD74+ Macrophages by Luteolin via CEBPB/P65 Signaling Ameliorates Osteoarthritis Progression

This study identifies CD74⁺ macrophages as key drivers of synovial inflammation in osteoarthritis (OA). The flavonoid luteolin is predicted to inhibit this pathway by blocking Nuclear Factor Kappa‐light‐chain‐enhancer of Activated B cells (NF‐κB) signaling. To enhance delivery, a targeted nanoplatform (MDSPL) is developed.
