From multi‐omics to precision medicine in intracranial aneurysm: Biomarker discovery and multimodal integration

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Medicine, EarlyView.
This review explores intracranial aneurysm biomarker discovery through multi‐omics. It reveals key genes, proteins, and metabolites, and shows how machine‐learning‐based multi‐modal integration may aid diagnosis and treatment. Abstract Despite extensive research, currently, no biomarkers are available for clinical use in intracranial aneurysm (IA ...

Is It an Intrapericardial Mass or a Localized Pericardial Effusion? A Case Report of Tuberculous Pericarditis Evaluated by Multimodal Imaging

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Ultrasound, EarlyView.
Tuberculous pericarditis is a common type of pericarditis, but it is difficult to be diagnosed. The application of combined transesophageal echocardiography, contrast echocardiography, and CT multimodal imaging provides sufficient clinical diagnosis basis and guidance for distinguishing encapsulated pericardial effusion or mass.

Swift microbiome‐mediated phenotype transfer from transgenic plants

open access: yesJournal of Environmental Quality, EarlyView.
Abstract The expression of an organism's genes determines its own characteristics in any given environment. In this study, we demonstrate that the phenotypic traits of genetically modified transgenic Arabidopsis thaliana plants, designed for nutrient efficiency and enhanced yield, can be naturally and readily transferred to neighboring wild‐type plants.

Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth and dysbiosis in children with intestinal failure: A descriptive cohort study

open access: yesJournal of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) is a clinical and diagnostic challenge in pediatric intestinal failure. This study aimed to assess SIBO and dysbiosis in children with intestinal failure and to analyze clinical characteristics as well as cultural and metagenomic sequencing results from different sampling methods ...
