Iron is one of the most common elements in ground water. Bythe HN 24:2003 iron concentration in water can‘t be higher than200 μg/l. Water treatment with an acoustic field is a very relevanttopic.

Quantum Conductivity for Metal-Insulator-Metal Nanostructures
We present a methodology based on quantum mechanics for assigning quantum conductivity when an ac field is applied across a variable gap between two plasmonic nanoparticles with an insulator sandwiched between them.

Measurement of CT radiation beam width with a pencil ionization chamber and radiopaque mask
Abstract Purpose This study compares fan beam CT scanner radiation beam widths measured with a pencil ionization chamber‐radiopaque mask technique with commonly used film and computed radiography (CR) measurements. Methods For a given fan beam CT scanner x‐ray beam, the ionization chamber‐mask technique determines the radiation beam width by exposing a

Metallicity-dependent kinematics and orbits in the Milky Way's nuclear stellar disc [PDF]
The nuclear stellar disc (NSD) is a flat and dense stellar structure at the centre of the Milky Way. Previous work has identified the presence of metal-rich and metal-poor stars in the NSD, suggesting that they have different origins. The recent publication of photometric, metallicity, proper motion, and orbital catalogues allows the NSD stellar ...

Temperature and Rate Dependent Constitutive Behaviors of Low Melt Field's Metal [PDF]
Low melting point metals such as Field's metal and gallium are increasingly used as transition phases in stiffness-tuning soft materials and devices. Nevertheless, there is a knowledge gap on the fundamental constitutive behaviors of metals with melting points below 100 degree.

Method of forming shrink-fit compression seal [PDF]
A method for making a glass-to-metal seal is described. A domed metal enclosure having a machined seal ring is fitted to a glass post machined to a slight taper and to a desired surface finish. The metal part is then heated by induction in a vacuum.

Abstract Purpose This study compares the dosimetric accuracy of deep‐learning‐based MR synthetic CT (sCT) in brain radiotherapy between the Analytical Anisotropic Algorithm (AAA) and AcurosXB (AXB). Additionally, it proposes a novel metric to predict the dosimetric accuracy of sCT for individual post‐surgical brain cases.
