Reactivity of Metal-Metal Bonds
Journal of Organometallic Chemistry, 1972Abstract The reactivity of Me 3 SnMn(CO) 5 , (CH 2 CHCH 2 ) 3 SnMn(CO) 5 , Me 3 SnFeCp(CO) 2 , and Me 2 Sn[FeCp(CO) 2 ] 2 has been investigated with respect to iodine, organomercury chlorides, trialkyl- and triarylchlorosilane, inorganic chlorides (SiCl 4 , SnCl 4 , TiCl 4 , ZnCl 2 , HgCl 2 ) and Mn 2 (CO) l0 .

METAL/METAL ARTICULATING INTERFACES
Orthopedics, 1995Polyethylene wear can be shown as a problem in long-term joint replacement. Metal-on-metal bearing is solving this problem, as long-term clinical and experimental investigations demonstrate. To avoid the problem of high friction found in old series, a new Metasul called technique with a smaller diameter was invented.

Applications of Surface Science, 1982
Abstract The progress of understanding of the epitaxy of metals on metals achieved in the last decade with improved conventional methods and with surface analytical techniques is illustrated with three groups of film substrate pairs: fcc and hcp metals on W and Mo (110) surfaces.

Metal–Metal Bonds and Transition-Metal Clusters
2008Abstract This chapter summarizes developments in the study of (transition) metal clusters held by metal-metal bonds. Similar to the case of boranes and carboranes, electron-counting rules have been devised to correlate the bonding and structure of metal clusters.

Sealing Technology, 2004
Abstract Process developments over the past 30 years, demanding ultrahigh vacuum, high temperatures and high pressures, have driven the need for advanced technology seals. This article explains how metal-to-metal gaskets have evolved to comply with the most demanding requirements and provide both resilience and low assembly forces.
