Alkali-metal alkylberyllium alkoxides
Journal of the Chemical Society, Dalton Transactions, 1974Three series of alkali-metal t-butoxyberyllate complexes are described, including MBe(OBut)3(M = Li, Na, K, Rb, or Cs), [MEtBe(OBut)2]2(M = Li or Na), and [MEt2Be(OBut)]2(M = Na or K). The series MBe(OBut)3 is formed from MOBut and Be(OBut)2, from Na2BeH4 and ButOH, or from K and Be(OBut)2 in ButOH.

COORDINATION COMPLEXES OF METAL ALKOXIDES: PART I. METAL ALKOXIDE – HYDRAZINE COMPLEXES
Canadian Journal of Chemistry, 1962The field of metal alkoxide coordination compounds is surveyed briefly. The preparation of moderately stable complexes of hydrazine with aluminum isopropoxide, titanium ethoxide, titanium isopropoxide, and zirconium isopropoxide is described. Some reactions of these new complexes are reported.

Spermine adducts of metal alkoxides
Monatshefte für Chemie - Chemical Monthly, 2012Reaction of spermine with M(OiPr)4 (M = Ti, Zr) in toluene solution results in the formation of crystalline coordination polymers [M2(OiPr)8(C10H26N4)]∞. In these compounds, only the terminal primary amino groups are coordinated to the metal centers. The adducts are stabilized by intramolecular hydrogen bonds.

Metal-Oxygen-Metal' Ring Formation in Metal Alkoxide Systems
Phosphorus, Sulfur, and Silicon and the Related Elements, 1997Salient features of the work carried out during the last few years on the alkoxide ring systems with chelating alcohols such as alkoxyalcohols, aminoalcohols, phosphino alcohols, glycols as well as monofunctional alcohols, are discussed.

THE polymeric co-ordination compounds are important in inorganic chemistry. Structural studies of these compounds have recently revealed the presence of cyclic and macromolecular1 structural types, which previously were counted as the distinguishing features of organic chemistry.

Pyrolysis of metal alkoxides. I. Thermal stability of some zirconium alkoxides
Journal of Applied Chemistry, 1959AbstractThe thermal stabilities of Zr(OEt)4, Zr(OPrf)4, Zr(OBut)4 and Zr(OC5H11‐tert.)4 have been studied in an all‐glass apparatus under constant pressure at various temperatures and pressures. Most work was carried out on the tertiary alkoxides and these exhibited an induction period which was very sensitive to traces of oxygen or the products of ...

1983
Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the transition-metal alkoxides. Primary alkoxides of chromium (III) do not appear to undergo alcoholysis reactions, even under forcing conditions with other alcohols. This is rather unusual in view of the usually strong lability of the alkoxy groups exhibited in alkoxides of most of the metals studied; the ...

Thermal analysis of some metal alkoxides
Thermochimica Acta, 1982Abstract The thermal decomposition of AI(OPri)3, Ca(OEt)2 and Mg(OEt)2 has been studied using differential thermal analysis and thermogravimetric techniques. The decomposition products have been isolated and identified by gas chromatography and mass spectrometry. Probable routes for the thermal decomposition of these alkoxides have been proposed.

Infrared Spectra of Transition Metal Alkoxides.
Analytical Chemistry, 1964Abstract : The infrared spectra of a number of transition metal isopropoxides and tetra tertiary butoxides were obtained from 5000 cm-1 to 285 cm-1 for the first time. The spectra were compared to existing infrared data on these classes of compounds. Characteristic absorptions for the isopropoxy group have been found at 1160 to 1175 cm-1 and at 1120 to
