Polyethylene Functionalization Using Metal Carboxylates
1989The synthesis of copper(II) functionalized polyethylene powders by entrapment functionalization is described along with preliminary studies of the reactivity of copper(II) ions located at the polymer-solution interface of such functionalized powders. Ethylene oligomers terminated with copper(II) carboxylates were prepared by anionic oligomerization of ...

Metal-carboxylic Acids and Their Derivatives
Russian Chemical Reviews, 1988Questions connected with the synthesis of metal-carboxylic acids, compounds incorporating [M]–COOH fragments with a metal–carbon bond in which M is a transition metal complex, and their derivatives (salts, esters, and amides) are considered. The bibliography includes 189 references.

Mononuclear transition metal adamantane-1-carboxylates
Russian Chemical Bulletin, 2019A procedure was developed for the synthesis of mononuclear first row transition metal coordination compounds with adamantane-1-carboxylate (AdCO2), which allowed the synthesis of complexes NBu4[M(AdCO2)3], where MII = Mn, Ni, Co, Zn. The X-ray diffraction study showed that all AdCO2 act as chelating ligands, which is the main distinguishing structural ...

Thermal behavior of metal carboxylates: III-metal acetates
Spectrochimica Acta Part A: Molecular Spectroscopy, 1982Abstract Infrared emission techniques applied to some acetates heated in air or in vacuum enabled a series of transformations and the final decomposition to be clarified. Interesting intermediates such as β anhydrous phases and basic acetates were identified. The possible reaction paths leading to the final products are discussed and compared.

Superconducting Fibers from Anhydrous Metal Carboxylates
MRS Proceedings, 1990ABSTRACTA variety of anhydrous Y, Ba and Cu carboxylates were synthesized and screened for utility as spinnable precursors to 123 superconducting fibers. Simple extrusion studies demonstrate that THF solutions of mixtures of Y, Ba and Cu isobutyrates with some Ba 2-ethyl- hexanoate can be used to form 70 μm dia. precursor fibers.

Metal and mixed-metal coordination polymers synthesized with pyrazine-2-carboxylate
Dalton Transactions, 2008This Dalton Perspective summarizes the rich structural diversity in coordination polymers that utilize pyrazine-2-carboxylate (pca) as the linking ligand. Pyrazine-2-carboxylate has two donor groups in the form of ring nitrogens and carboxylato oxygens.
