Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Experimental determination of phase equilibria at 900°C and liquidus surface in the Cu-Ni-Ti system [PDF]
Phase equilibria at 900°C and the liquidus projection in the Ni-rich corner of the Cu-Ni-Ti ternary system were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), electron probe microanalysis (EPMA) and differential scanning ...

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.
