Thermal stability of some metal-palmitate soaps which find various industrial applications
The soaps of alkaline earth's and transition elements and closed ‘d’ orbitals were prepared by the double decomposition method by the reaction between metallic salts and sodium palmitate. The thermal stability of these soaps was studied in order to throw

Organic electrochemical transistors based on a Near‐Infrared (NIR)‐responsive polymer p(C4DPP‐T) and iodide electrolyte exhibit optically programmable negative differential transconductance. NIR illumination triggers an iodine‐mediated redox process, enabling a transition from binary to ternary conductance states within a single‐layer device.

Thermal Processing Creates Water‐Stable PEDOT:PSS Films for Bioelectronics
Instead of using chemical cross–linkers, it is shown that PEDOT:PSS thin films for bioelectronics become water‐stable after a simple heat treatment. The heat treatment is compatible with a range of rigid and elastomeric substrates and films are stable in vivo for >20 days.

In this work, low bandgap (≈1.55 eV) semitransparent perovskite solar cells (ST‐PSCs) having thin (thickness < ≈100 nm) perovskite layers and transparent conductive oxide‐based rear electrodes are fabricated using vacuum‐deposition methods. Two different ST‐PSCs demonstrated a high light utilization efficiency value of 4.2 (PCE: 9.26% and AVT: 45.3 ...

DIPOLE MOMENTS OF METALLIC SOAPS
The dipole moments of six metallic soaps, viz., the oleates of Zn Cu, Mg, Ni, Pb and Ca have been determined by a heterodyne beat method. The values Are 0.29 D, 1.20 D, 1.66 D, 2.67 D, 4.29 D and 4.49 D respectively. Though the metallic soaps are generally regarded as non-polar from their physico-chemical, particularly solubility behaviour, being ...

High‐Performance Zero‐Gap Glycerol‐Fed Electrolyzer for C3 Chemicals and Hydrogen Production
This work presents a dynamic, self‐regulating operation strategy that enables selective glycerol electrooxidation in the OER‐free regime, co‐producing C3 chemicals and hydrogen at cell voltages below 1.25 V. Voltage‐ and temperature‐resolved analyses define optimal operating conditions, achieving a sustained current density of 500 mA cm−2 at ∼1.21 V ...

GC/MS Characterization of Beeswax, Protein, Gum, Resin, and Oil in Romano-Egyptian Paintings
This article presents results from a binding media survey of 61 Romano-Egyptian paintings. Most of the paintings (51) are the better-known funerary mummy portraits created using either encaustic or tempera paint medium. Samples from all the paintings (on

Metallic soaps have many varieties and many applications.Aluminum soap shows special properties, and its synthetic procedure and application differs from other metallic soaps. When we want to use the dispersions of metallic soap in nonaqueous liquids, we must observe the effects of cation or anion variation on structure and solvent composition.
