A Nickel(II) Metallamacrocycle Complex with Antiferromagnetic Properties

Zeitschrift für anorganische und allgemeine Chemie, 2012
AbstractA hexanuclear metallamacrocycle complex [Ni(iPr3tacn)(dca)(PF6)]6 (1) was obtained by using the tridentate ligand 1, 4, 7‐triisopropyl‐1, 4, 7‐triazacyclononane (iPr3tacn) and the flexible ligand dicyanamide (dca). The complex was characterized by X‐ray crystallography and magnetic measurements.

Metalation studies of 3- and 4-pyridyloxycyclophosphazenes: metallamacrocycles to coordination polymers

Dalton Transactions, 2013
Pyridyloxy cyclophosphazenes, spiro-N3P3(O2C12H8)(O-C5H4N-3)4 (L1), dispiro-N3P3(O2C12H8)2(O-C5H4N-3)2 (L2) and dispiro-N3P3(O2C12H8)2(O-C5H4N-4)2 (L3) were prepared and characterized. The crystal structure of L1 was determined which showed that the cyclophosphazene ring is planar. The reaction of L1 with anhydrous copper(II) chloride or silver nitrate

Metallamacrocycle-modified gold nanoparticles: a new pathway for surface functionalization

Chem. Commun., 2014
We report herein the designed synthesis of four silver(I)- or gold(I)-bridged flexible metalla-macrocycles (MMCs) and their distinct performance in the surface modification of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs). The resulting gold(I)-MMCs-modified AuNPs were found to be resistant to pH variation and capable of binding with metal ions.

Redox‐Active 17‐ and 19‐Membered Metallamacrocycles Incorporating Tetrathiafulvalene

European Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, 2006
AbstractRedox‐active 17‐ and 19‐membered metallamacrocycles were prepared thanks to the chelating ability of bis[(diphenylphosphane)alkylthio]TTF towards the M(CO)4 fragment(M = Mo, W). The TTF unit can adopt either a cis or a trans configuration as can the phosphorus atoms coordinated to the metal center.

The molecular electrochemistry of metal–organic metallamacrocycles

Current Opinion in Electrochemistry, 2018
Abstract Considering that most metallamacrocycles possess redox-active metal nodes as well as redox-active linker ligands, the number of studies aimed at investigating that inherent property is astoundingly small. This microreview summarizes the most relevant, recent work on the electrochemistry of organometallic macrocycles.

Metallacrown ethers: synthesis and structural investigation of silver metallamacrocycles

Tetrahedron Letters, 2003
The bis-monodentate ligands 1 and 2 based on the interconnection of two pyrazolyl units by CH 2 (CH 2 OCH 2 ) n CH 2 ( n =3 or 4) spacers, respectively, lead to the formation of either mono nuclear silver metallamacrocycle 10 in the case of 1 or binuclear silver metallamacrocycle 11 in the case of 2 .

Synthesis and X-ray crystal structure of an anionic heteronuclear metallamacrocyclic triangle

Chem. Commun., 2004
trans-[Pt(C[triple bond]C(Ar)C[triple bond]CH)2(PMe3)2](Ar = C(6)Me(4)-3,4,5,6) (1) reacts with PPN[Au(acac)(2)](Hacac = acetylacetone; 1 : 1.16 molar ratio; PPN = (Ph3P)2N) to give PPN[(Au[Pt(PMe3)2]2)(mu-Ar(C[triple bond]C)2)3] (2) the crystal structure of which showed the anions as quasi equilateral triangles stacked parallel to each other through C-

Semi-Rigid Bis-Phosphane Ligands for Metallamacrocycle Formation

European Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, 2002
Efficient syntheses are described for the new bridging bis-phosphanes DPPN (4) and DPEN (5) built around the restricted rigidity of a 2,7-dialkoxynaphthalene backbone. These show marked preference for bridging pairs of metal atoms (PtII, Mo0) to form metallamacrocycles or oligomers.

Construction of a Ag12 High-Nuclearity Metallamacrocyclic 3D Framework

Inorganic Chemistry, 2010
An unprecedented high-nuclearity metallamacrocycle-based 3D silver framework with formula {[Ag(2)(C(25)H(27)N(6)O)(2)](CH(3)OH)(H(2)O)(0.17)}(n) (1), built on the basis of dodecanuclear silver building blocks, has been synthesized and characterized, and it shows strong phosphorescence emission at 10 K, which is a consequence of the presence of ...
