Ecosystem‐Centered Robot Design: Toward Ecoresorbable Sustainability Robots (ESRs)

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 15, 13 March 2026.
Robots exploring natural ecosystems can support monitoring and conservation, but must adopt ecosystem‐centered design to avoid pollution, waste, and damage. This review proposes guidelines for co‐designing ecoresorbable sustainability robots (ESRs), uniting materials, robotics, and ecological contexts in a single framework.

Optimized crenellation designs for fatigue life improvement of metallic airframe structures

open access: yes, 2017
Fatigue of airframe structures is a critical concern for the safety of aircraft. Serious accidents due to the accumulation of fatigue damages in airframes are by no means rare cases in history. Nowadays to ensure the structural integrity of the aircraft periodic inspections are performed on the airframe structure to detect and repair fatigue cracks ...
