Metallogenic age and genesis of Jinshan gold deposit, Jiangxi Province, China
Chinese Journal of Geochemistry, 2000The Jinshan gold deposit consists of gold-bearing ultramylonite and gold-bearing quartz vein ores. The Rb-Sr isochron age of fluid inclusions in quartz from quartz veins is the same as that of the gold-bearing ultramylonite, suggesting that both the types of orebodies were formed simultaneously in the Caledonian period, in the range 406–409 Ma.

Abstract The paper presents new isotope geochronological data for several mineral deposits, ore occurrences, and related igneous bodies (plutons and dikes) in the Verkhoyansk–Kolyma folded area, eastern Yakutia. Twenty-one 40Ar/39Ar mica and four U–Pb zircon dates provide the first age constraints on key metallogenic units in the area ...

The Oligo-Miocene volcanic cycle was accompanied by intense hydrothermal phenomena, which produced extensive alteration zones and ore deposition, mostly of precious metals. The low price of gold before the seventies prevented any considerations for these occurrences.

Abstract The Pusangguo skarn Cu-polymetallic deposit is a newly discovered deposit in the western Gangdese porphyry copper belt (GPCB). The orebodies are hosted along the contact between limestone of the Early Cretaceous Takena Formation and a biotite granodiorite intrusion. The mineralization is associated with the biotite granodiorite intrusion and
