AGE CONSTRAINTS AND METALLOGENIC PREDICTION OF GOLD DEPOSITS IN THE AKZHAL-BOKO-ASHALIN ORE ZONE (ALTAI ACCRETION-COLLISION SYSTEM)

open access: yesГеодинамика и тектонофизика, 2021
We present new age constraints for igneous rocks and ore-metasomatic formations of the gold deposits in the Akzhal-Boko-Ashalin ore zone. In terms of their ore formation, these deposits correspond mainly to the orogenic type, which generally reflects ...

Fission-track ages of the metallogenic epoch of the Ikuno-Akenobe province in Japan.

open access: yesThe Journal of the Japanese Association of Mineralogists, Petrologists and Economic Geologists, 1976
The igneous rock specimens taken from Ikuno-Akenobe province in Japan were dated by the fission-track technique. Ages of pre-ore dikes, ranging from 72 to 65 my, are younger than ages of Ariga granite and Yakuno metamophic rocks in this province, which are 75 and 115 my, respectively. Being obvious from the ages of post-ore dikes, ranging from 55 to 51

Geochemical and Geological Investigation of Skarn‐Type Pb–Zn Mineralization in Hastanetepe (Balya‐Balıkesir, Türkiye): An Approach Based on Fluid Inclusions, Sulphur Isotopes and Geochemical Data

open access: yesGeological Journal, EarlyView.
Integrated petrographic, mineralogical and geochemical data from the Hastanetepe Pb–Zn deposit (Balya, Türkiye) reveal multi‐stage hydrothermal alteration and a magmatic sulphur source. Fluid inclusion and sulphur isotope results indicate a complex fluid evolution responsible for skarn‐type Pb–Zn mineralization along limestone–dacite contacts ...

The Metallogenic Age of the Ovor Bayan Molybdenum Deposit in Southeastern Mongolia: Constraints from SHRIMP Zircon U-Pb and Molybdenite Re-Os Geochronology

open access: yesApplied Sciences
The Ovor Bayan molybdenum deposit in Mongolia is located within the western segment of the Nukhetdavaa–Erlianhot–Dongwuzhumuqin–Aershan Mo–Pb–Zn–W–Cu–Sn–Cr–Fe metallogenic belt in the Mongolia–Daxing’anling Metallogenic Province.

Geochemistry and Geochronology of Magmatic Rocks in Southwestern and Northeastern Cambodia: Implications for the Tectonic Evolution and Metallogenesis of the Loei Fold Belt

open access: yesGeological Journal, EarlyView.
The composition of intrusive rocks suggests that the magma was likely generated in a subduction‐related setting. The arc crustal thickness in the Phnom Sro Ngam and Halo Prospects was probably < 40 km during emplacement. Zircon U–Pb age range indicates a correlation with Loei Fold Belt magmatic activity.

Brittle Structural Control and Fluid Progress of the Jinqingding Gold Deposit: Implications for Epizonal Gold Mineralization

open access: yesActa Geologica Sinica - English Edition, Volume 100, Issue 3, Page 781-794, June 2026.
High‐grade orebodies are controlled by stress field with σ1 oriented NE‐SW during the main mineralization stage.Inferred NEE‐trending strike‐slip fault control another orebody distribution. ABSTRACT The Jinqingding gold deposit in eastern Jiaodong is a significant gold mineralization within the Muping–Rushan metallogenic belt.

Metallogenic model of the Shuangjianzishan Ag-Pb-Zn district, Northeast China: Revealed from integrated geophysical investigation

open access: yesGeoscience Frontiers, 2022
Abstract The Shuangjianzishan deposit in Inner Mongolia is a typical Ag-Pb-Zn deposit of the southern Great Xing’an Range. Proven reserves of Ag, Pb, and Zn in this deposit have reached the scale of super-large deposits, with favorable metallogenic conditions, strong prospecting signs, and high metallogenic potential.

Geochemical Characteristics and Their Geological Significance of Zircon and Apatite From the Wunugetushan Porphyry Cu–Mo Deposit, Inner Mongolia, NE China

open access: yesActa Geologica Sinica - English Edition, Volume 100, Issue 3, Page 795-813, June 2026.
The key factors making the monzogranitic porphyry fertile for mineralization, including its high Cl, S, and H2O contents, high oxidation state, significant fluid exsolution, and multiple recharges of deep‐seated mafic magma, were all critical for the formation of the Wunugetushan porphyry Cu‐Mo deposit. ABSTRACT The Wunugetushan (Wushan) porphyry Cu–Mo
