Oxygen in Steel WMD after Welding with Micro-Jet Cooling

open access: yesArchives of Metallurgy and Materials, 2013
Dotychczas technologia mikrojetowa była stosowana tylko w spawalniczym procesie MIG, gdzie gazem osłonowym był argon. W artykule przedstawiono innowacyjną technologię spawania z chłodzeniem mikrojetowym.

Micro‐Galvanic Coupling Programs the Therapeutic Zinc Ion Window to Reconfigure Immune Cascades for Pro‐Regenerative Bone Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study utilized alloy micro‐galvanic coupling design to regulate the release of essential elements, thereby programming immune responses and promoting regeneration. The sacrificial anodic process of Zn‐0.8Mg reduced Zn2+ release compared to the “large cathode‐small anode” coupling of Zn‐0.8Fe.

Nitrogen And Oxygen Amount In Weld After Welding With Micro-Jet Cooling

open access: yesArchives of Metallurgy and Materials, 2015
Micro-jet cooling after welding was tested only for MIG welding process with argon, helium and nitrogen as a shielded gases. A paper presents a piece of information about nitrogen and oxygen in weld after micro-jet cooling. There are put down information

Enhanced Mechanical Properties Via Boron‐Induced Multi‐Mechanism Strengthening in (NbTaTi1.5V)100‐xBx Refractory High Entropy Alloys

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A trace amount of boron is introduced into NbTaTi1.5V RHEA, forming a finegrained BCC+TiO+TiB microstructure. The TiB phase generates numerous dislocations, strengthening the alloy. The alloy exhibits 3610 MPa compressive fracture strength and 1060 HV microhardness, while retaining 14.8% fracture strain.

Postcranial anatomy and osteohistology of an early prozostrodont cynodont from the Upper Triassic of Brazil

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract Prozostrodon brasiliensis, a probainognathian cynodont of the clade Prozostrodontia, is recognized as a key taxon for understanding the origin of Mammaliaformes and mammals. Despite detailed investigations of its cranial anatomy, the postcranial skeleton has received comparatively less attention.

Fracture analysis of nodular cast iron crankshaft

open access: yesMetalurgija, 2020
Based on the analysis of the fracture of a certain type of QT800-2 nodular cast iron crankshaft, the cause analysis of the fracture crankshaft is discussed based on macroscopic inspection, metallographic analysis and mechanical properties test.

Integrated microanatomy and microstructure of the maxillary tooth plate reveal a reinforced feeding system and tougher diet in Late Triassic Hyperodapedontinae (Rhynchosauria, Archosauromorpha)

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract Hyperodapedontine rhynchosaurs possessed a unique oral apparatus, long interpreted as an adaptation for processing abrasive and resistant plant material. However, the microanatomical and histological evidence supporting this interpretation remains poorly documented.

Atomic Scale Insight Into High Voltage Degradation Mechanism in YSZ Electrolyte for Solid Oxide Electrolyzer Applications

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
The evolution of yttria‐stabilized zirconia (YSZ) electrolyte microstructure after testing at progressively high voltages was captured at the micro‐ and atomic‐scale levels to determine the operational boundaries of a solid oxide electrolysis cell (SOEC).

Anaerobic Corrosion Phenomena of Cast Iron and Copper in Artificial Groundwater at Elevated Temperature

open access: yesMaterials and Corrosion, EarlyView.
This study examines corrosion of copper and cast iron as candidate canister materials for high‐level radioactive waste disposal in contact with bentonite suspension. The influence of three electrolyte compositions on corrosion behavior under repository‐relevant conditions is assessed.
