Design patterns for metamodels [PDF]
A metamodel is used to define the abstract syntax (i.e., entities, attributes, and relations) of a Domain-Specific Modeling Language (DSML). In addition, a metamodel also defines constraints and static semantics that provide additional information about the modeling language beyond the abstract syntax.

Abstract The detection capability of the global infrasound International Monitoring System (IMS) deployed to monitor compliance with the Comprehensive Nuclear‐Test‐Ban Treaty is highly variable in space and time. Previous studies estimated the source energy of near‐surface explosions from remote observations using empirical yield‐scaling relations ...

Abstract Irrigation plays a crucial role in the earth system, yet our understanding of irrigation water withdrawal (IWW) remains limited due to the scarcity of spatially explicit data. While process‐based models and remote sensing can bridge this data gap, their estimates often fail to capture real IWW and are associated with large uncertainties. Here,

Automated Nanoparticle Recognition and Isolation for Quantitative Analysis using Fully Convolutional Networks. Abstract Silver (Ag) nanoparticles enhance conductivity in composite structures, offering a lightweight solution for solar panels. However, adequate rigidity is essential for withstanding mechanical and thermal stresses.

The study compares forced convection heat transfer between rectangular solid fins and circular perforated fin arrays, considering variables such as fin spacing, perforation diameter, number of perforations, air velocity, and voltage. Experiments were conducted using aluminum fins, and the Nusselt number was calculated for each configuration ...

Analysis of inductive power transfer systems by metamodeling techniques
This paper presents some metamodeling techniques to analyze the variability of the performances of an inductive power transfer (IPT) system, considering the sources of uncertainty (misalignment between the coils, the variation in air gap, and the ...
