Apatite fission‐track and (U‐Th)/He data indicate rapid exhumation of northern Victoria Land at 40–30 Ma, correlating with opening of Adare Trough at 43–28 Ma. Exhumation was greatest close to the Ross Sea, consistent with other regions of the Transantarctic Mountains.

Precambrian crustal evolution and Cretaceous–Palaeogene faulting in West Greenland: Evolution of Neoarchaean supracrustal belts at the northern margin of the North Atlantic Craton, West Greenland [PDF]
The Archaean North Atlantic Craton of West Greenland collided at c. 1.9 Ga with a lesser-known Archaean craton to the north, to form the Nagssugtoqidian orogen.

Magnetic fabric and rock magnetic studies of metasedimentary rocks in the central Okcheon Metamorphic Belt, Korea [PDF]
Abstract Anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility (AMS) and rock magnetic studies have been carried out for the metasedimentary rocks in the central Okcheon Metamorphic Belt. The study area is divided into three metamorphic zones: the biotite zone, the garnet zone, and the sillimanite+andalusite zone from southeast to northwest.

Subduction Zone Magnetism: The Influence of Metamorphism and Serpentinization in the Mantle Wedge
Abstract Subduction zone magnetic anomalies have previously been used to infer their thermal structure assuming a uniformly serpentinized mantle carries a homogeneous, isotropic magnetization. However, seismic tomography, geological observations and numerical modeling provide increasing evidence for a non‐uniformly serpentinized mantle wedge that may ...

U-Pb zircon age of Ordovician magmatism in the Albera Massif (Eastern Pyrenees)
New geochronological data from the Albera Massif confirm the presence of an Early – Mid Ordovician igneous event (472 - 465Ma) recorded in the pre-Variscan rocks of the Pyrenees.

Growth and Chemical Evolution of the Kohistan Arc Crust, Northern Pakistan, Western Himalayas
Abstract Fossil arcs which expose the middle‐lower crust have the potential to shed light on active arc processes because magmatic rocks from the entire history of the arc can be examined. We present new geochemical data from the middle crust of the Kohistan Arc and use existing geochemical and geochronological literature data from this arc to ...
