Origin of the ungrouped achondrite NWA 4518: mineralogy and geochemistry of FeNi-metal [PDF]
Ungrouped achondrite NWA 4518 is an ultramafic breccia with abundant siderophile rich IIA-like metal. Its silicate chemistry is similar to that of WINs, HEDs, and silicate inclusions of IIE irons.

Mechanism of Propagation of Metasomatic Reaction
After a brief retrospect on the developement since middle 1950's of studies on metasomatic process, the paper deals with some recent results of experiments aimed to observe the mechanism of propagation of the metasomatic material tranfer in silicates. It is shown that “relict” minerals often participate in the metasomatic reaction.

A mid-Archaean ophiolite complex, Barberton Mountain land [PDF]
New field observations and structurally restored geologic sections through the southern part of 3.5-3.6 Ga Barberton greenstone belt show that its mafic to ultramafic rocks form a pseudostratigraphy comparable to that of Phanerozoic ophiolites; this ...
