Polarimetric Metagrating‐Assisted One‐Step Multi‐Dimensional Sensing Using a Vector Vortex Beam
One‐step multidimensional sensing is realized by combining VVB probes with a polarimetric metagrating, where the full‐Stokes diffraction orders retrieve m‐dependent angular features and the polarization‐insensitive central order extracts l‐dependent radial‐intensity information. ABSTRACT Multidimensional optical sensing requires compact methods capable

This paper presents 3D bulk metamaterials in which diced cross‐bar meta‐grains are randomly dispersed in a polymer matrix by molding. The de‐latticed composite provides isotropic and band‐selective THz attenuation with over tenfold dispersion suppression compared to the periodic metasurface.

A 400 nm graphene oxide film on a beam‐expanding fiber facet is patterned by femtosecond laser direct writing into a 19‐lens microlens array. The device simultaneously splits a single input beam into multiple 0.67–0.74 NA focus spots with a broadband response from 850 to 1550 nm.

This work presents a NURBS‐enabled metasurface design framework that combines freeform meta‐atom parameterization with Transformer‐based deep learning. The unified mathematical representation expands geometric degrees of freedom while enabling efficient optical‐response prediction and inverse design.

Conceptual illustration of the retro‐reflective and transmissive metasurface (RRTM). The blue radar establishes communication with the UAV via the transmissive mode, whereas the purple surveillance radar acquires the status of friendly units through the retro‐reflective mode and the two modes operate simultaneously within the same decoupled aperture ...

A novel large aperture metalens design strategy achieves broadband achromatic imaging across the visible spectrum (400–680 nm) with a 100° field of view. By incorporating forward mapping optimization and a hybrid algorithm framework, this approach overcomes the limit between aperture size, field of view, and chromatic aberration correction, providing a

Lithography‐free spaced TiO2 NT arrays unlock tunable broadband absorption from THz to UV. By harnessing annealing‐driven phase transitions, strong phonon–polariton resonances emerge in the 1.4–3.6 THz range, whereas high absorptance persists beyond 10 THz.
