Femtosecond laser fabrication metasurface emitter for multispectral camouflage

Optics Letters
The powerful electromagnetic capability of a metasurface makes it a good candidate for thermal emission manipulation toward promising infrared (IR) camouflage and thermal management technology. Here, a metasurface-based infrared is fabricated to achieve multispectral camouflage as well as radiative cooling simultaneously.

Optical metasurface fabricated using 3D nanoimprint lithography

Journal of Vacuum Science & Technology B
To improve the performance of the next-generation optical metasurface device, we investigated the feasibility of practical design and fabrication processes for 3D optical metasurface. 3D nanoimprint lithography technology could duplicate the multilayer pattern of the device in a single fabrication process with high resolution, which shows the prospect ...

Fabrication of plasmonic metasurfaces for fluorescence nanoscopy

2023
Single-molecule fluorescence localization microscopy has become an indispensable technique of imaging with resolution better than 10 nanometers. However, the light emission of fluorophores is not easy to control because of photobleaching. In the presence of nanoantennas, the photobleaching lifetime, blinking rate and overall photoluminescence intensity

Inverse-designed metasurfaces with facile fabrication parameters

Journal of Optics
Abstract Optical metasurfaces are planar nanostructured devices that are industrially attractive in part because they utilize high-throughput microelectronic fabrication techniques for implementation. It is therefore critical to develop design paradigms that can balance the realization of highly efficient wavefront responses together ...

Inverse-designed polarization-insensitive metasurface holography fabricated by nanoimprint lithography

Optics Letters
Metasurface holography, capable of fully engineering the wavefronts of light in an ultra-compact manner, has emerged as a promising route for vivid imaging, data storage, and information encryption. However, the primary manufacturing method for visible metasurface holography remains limited to the expensive and low-productivity electron-beam ...
