Highly scalable machine vision enabled with meta-optics-based ultra-wide neural network
Optical neural networks (ONNs) offer a route to low-latency, energy-efficient AI, but scaling them to modern model sizes is constrained by two practical bottlenecks: training large ONNs is computationally prohibitive, and implementing or tuning millions ...

1D and 3D nanoporous anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) surfaces were functionalized with stearic acid (STA) to increase hydrophobicity and reduce the influence of humidity on radiative cooling performance. The STA coating improves cooling behavior under humid atmospheric conditions (Madrid summer), before while keeping the optical properties required for ...

High‐pressure recrystallization provides a reproducible route to high‐quality CsPbBr3${\rm CsPbBr}_{3}$ thin films. Optimized processing at 300 bar yields smooth, pinhole‐free, single‐phase 3D perovskite layers with tunable thickness, enhanced crystallinity, reduced amplified‐spontaneous‐emission threshold, improved photostability, and phase‐transition

Micromachined Double‐Membrane Mechanically Tunable Metamaterial for Thermal Infrared Filtering
Herein, a mechanically tunable double‐layer plasmonic metamaterial leveraging the extraordinary optical transmission effect observed in subwavelength arrays of openings within thin metal layers is presented. The concept is experimentally validated by integrating the proposed metamaterial structure into an electrostatic parallel‐plate actuator to create
