Conundrums of Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance Biosensors
Localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) biosensing faces fundamental conundrums arising from finite field decay lengths, environmental cross‐sensitivities, and batch variability. Competing surface, bulk, and electrostatic effects can induce red or blue spectral shifts, complicating quantification, reproducibility, and interpretation in complex or ...

ABSTRACT Objects violating Kirchhoff's law of thermal radiation exhibit unequal absorptivity or emissivity at symmetrical polar angles relative to the normal direction, providing prerequisites for approaching thermodynamic limits in radiative cooling and photon energy conversion, such as the Landsberg limit.

Hyperentanglement in Nanophotonic Systems With Discrete Rotational Symmetry
This work introduces a nanophotonic scheme leveraging discrete rotational symmetry to unlock two quantum capabilities: generation of hyperentangled photon pairs in spin and spatial degrees of freedom; and isomorphic mapping that preserves free‐space degrees of freedom, overcoming the information loss in non‐paraxial photonic systems.

Helically Magnetized Plasma: From Photonic Fermi‐Arc Metal to Chirality‐Free Uniaxial Medium
A helically modulated magnetic field in magnetized plasma realizes a photonic Fermi‐arc metal, enabling full analytical tracking of Weyl node evolution. As modulation strengthens, opposing‐chirality Fermi arcs hybridize and recombine, yielding a chirality‐free uniaxial optical medium without conventional node annihilation.
