ABSTRACTMetatexite and diatexite migmatites are widely distributed within the upper amphibolite and granulite-facies zones of the Higo low-P/high-T metamorphic terrane. Here we report Nd–Sr isotopic and whole rock composition data from an outcrop in the highest-grade part of the granulite-facies zone, in which diatexite occurs as a 3 m-thick layer ...

Large masses of turbidite systems have been metamorphosed in orogenic systems during Earth’s history. Under granulite-facies conditions, the transformation of turbidite sedimentary successions into metasedimentary sequences drives intracrustal differentiation by anatexis and melt–residuum separation.

AbstractMetatexite and diatexite migmatites are widely distributed within the upper amphibolite and granulite facies zones of the Higo low‐P/high‐Tmetamorphic terrane. Here, we report data from an outcrop in the highest grade part of the granulite facies zone, in which diatexite occurs as a 3 m thick layer between 2 m thick layers of stromatic ...

Abstract Integration of the published experimental data of partially melted amphibolite, orthogneiss, granite and aplite reveals the existence of three rapid strength drops of the rock-assemblage at melt fraction around 7%, 21% and 41% respectively. The first and the last drops are equivalent to the well-known ‘melt connectivity transition’ (MCT) and

The geology and petrogenetic studies of migmatites around Buzaye area were conducted to evaluate their morphological units and geochemical affinity. Field mapping revealed migmatite with stromatic structures represented the metatexite while parts of the migmatite with schollen and schlieren structures with granitic component represent the diatexite ...
