O objetivo desta pesquisa foi investigar as propriedades psicométricas do Questionário de Avaliação da Consciência Metatextual (QACM). A amostra contabilizou 618 alunos do 3º ao 5º ano de escolas públicas, com idades entre 8 e 13 anos. Os instrumentos utilizados foram o QACM e dois testes de Cloze, que avaliam a compreensão de leitura.
