Prediction of meteorological parameters

Il Nuovo Cimento C, 1991
A method by which meteorological parameters may be predicted is described. This method is mostly based on analytical expressions in which some of the coefficients are evaluated on the basis of past meteorological records from the particular region for which the prediction is being made.

Prediction of meteorological parameters

Proceedings of the 2nd ACM SIGSPATIAL PhD Workshop, 2015
The climatological dynamics and weather patterns have been studied extensively in the field of remote sensing (RS) and geographic information system (GIS). The meteorological parameters, closely related to the earth surface, play important roles in climatological study.

Meteorological Parameters Affecting Supersonic Transport Operations

Journal of Navigation, 1967
In 1965, following the Eastbourne Conference, the British, French and German Institutes of Navigation formed a Working Group to make a study of the environment in which the supersonic transport will operate and of its implications for the navigation of such aircraft.

Superchannels for observing meteorological parameters

SPIE Proceedings, 2003
The AIRS instrument has a large number (2378) of potential channels. For use for observing meteorological parameters, several methods have been proposed and/or used. These include selecting a subset of channels, using eigenvectors, and using "super channels", which are averages of channels which view similar atmospheric features.

River temperature sensitivity to hydraulic and meteorological parameters

Journal of Environmental Management, 2002
A sensitivity analysis is performed to evaluate river temperature variations in response to changes in hydraulic and meteorological conditions. The effects of instream flow, river geometry, and weather factors on daily mean and daily maximum river temperatures are quantified by analytical solutions to a simplified model.

Meteorological and Atmospheric Parameters

2010
As demonstrated in the previous chapter, prevailing weather conditions largely drive the thermodynamic behavior of objects. For targets, internal heat sources also may affect the exterior thermal signature. To understand the thermal behavior of objects and quantify the IR radiation exchange, a number of weather parameters have to be measured in the ...

Meteorological Parameters Influence for Medium Term Load Forecasting

2005/2006 PES TD, 2006
The present paper reports a correction algorithm based on meteorological parameters, to apply to a medium-term load forecasting (MTLF) available system. To this aim a correlation study between various meteorological data and electric load of a Municipal Utility has been performed.

Satellite Meteorological Parameters

2017
Satellite meteorological parameters help to provide the initial conditions for Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP). Desired fields include those of temperature, moisture, winds, clouds, fog, aerosols, precipitation, surface properties, heating and other parameters.

Meteorological parameters and seasonal variations in pulmonary thromboembolism

The American Journal of Emergency Medicine, 2008
In recent years, circannual variations in incidence and mortality for venous thromboembolic disease have been demonstrated, with a peak in winter. However, several investigators have observed no seasonal variation in these diseases. The aim of our study was to investigate whether a seasonal variation, in terms of atmospheric pressure, humidity, and ...

Meteorological Parameter Monitoring and Data Quality

2012
Evaporation and evapotranspiration (ET) estimation models require meteorological observations as input. The quality of the input data determines the quality of evaporation and evapotranspiration estimation. It is important to discuss the subject of meteorological monitoring, types of sensors, and challenges of operation and maintenance. In this chapter,
