A Modern Roman‐Inspired Concrete with Daytime Radiative Cooling Capacity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Coolcrete, inspired by ancient Roman concrete, is a new cementitious material with photonic properties enabling passive daytime radiative cooling. Made from quicklime and zeolites, it reduces cooling energy demand, lowers CO2 emissions, and may eliminate urban heat islands.

Laser‐Engraved Micro‐Patterned rGO/WPU Composite Structures for Aircraft Applications: Synchronizing Electrothermal De‐Icing and Broadband Microwave Transparency

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
While conventional electrothermal materials tend to reflect electromagnetic waves during de‐icing. Inspired by the frequency‐selective surface theory, this paper designs NJPS for rGO/WPU electrothermal coatings based on the traditional Jerusalem structure.
