Microwave-assisted Catalytic Dry Methane Reforming
2022Microwave-assisted catalytic dry methane reforming is an alternative methane valorisation route that can intensify reactants conversion and yield performance, while reducing coke deposition on the catalyst surface as compared to conventional heating mechanisms.

Intensification of dry reforming of methane on membrane catalyst
Chemical Engineering Journal, 2019Abstract A kinetic study of dry reforming of methane (DRM) on the traditional powder and membrane catalysts with the active component WC was performed. The paper presents the mass balance of DRM. A kinetic model in which the formation of carbon deposits is absent on both catalysts has been proposed.

Dry reforming of methane powered by magnetic induction
International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, 2019Dry reforming of methane is a highly endothermic reaction that produces syngas from CH4 and CO2. It operates at 800-1000 °C to meet thermodynamic constraints, achieve high equilibrium conversion and minimize catalyst deactivation due to carbon deposition.

Investigation of dry reforming of methane over Mo-based catalysts
International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, 2020Abstract An investigation of methane dry reforming over Mo–Ni based catalysts is carried out in a fixed bed catalytic reactor at different temperatures. Two Mo–Ni catalysts supported on alumina are prepared with 20%Mo–10%Ni and 20%Mo–2%Ni, respectively, in which the nickel is used for its highly resistance at high temperature during dry reforming of ...

Steam Reforming and Dry Reforming of Methane
In this chapter, steam reforming of methane and dry reforming of methane processes have been taken into consideration from the perspective of sustainable H2 production. In this framework, thermodynamics and the side reactions are discussed in order to understand the general picture.openaire +1 more source
Design and Control of the Dry Methane Reforming Process
Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, 2014The much lower cost of natural gas and the desire to reduce carbon dioxide emissions have stimulated interest in the dry methane reforming process in which these two gases react to produce synthesis gas. The ratio of hydrogen to carbon monoxide in the resulting synthesis gas is close to unity, which makes it suitable for feeding to the Fischer–Tropsch ...
