Land cover changes with the development of anaerobic digestion for biogas production in France
GCB Bioenergy, Volume 15, Issue 5, Page 630-641, May 2023., 2023 We characterized and quantified the land cover changes in farms associated with biogas plants in France, by combining two national spatialized databases. We showed that, on average, the changes were limited, with an increase in maize areas compensated by a decrease in wheat and rapeseed areas, but with a certain variability.
