Methanol reforming reactions over Zn/TiO2 catalysts
It has been proved that a novel class of catalysts containing only titanium and zinc oxides with different Zn/Ti molar ratio is able to produce hydrogen by methanol reforming. Catalysts were characterised by X-ray diffraction. The influence of the reaction temperature, fed composition and catalyst composition were investigated.

A Review of Catalysts for Hydrogen Production from Methanol
Methanol is the simplest C1 oxygenated compound possessing the highest hydrogen-to-carbon ratio and can therefore be used as an effective hydrogen carrier. Furthermore, it can be easily transported by land and sea because it is liquid at room temperature

Steam reforming on transition-metal carbides from density-functional theory [PDF]
A screening study of the steam reforming reaction (CH_4 + H_2O -> CO + 3H_2) on early transition-metal carbides (TMC's) is performed by means of density-functional theory calculations. The set of considered surfaces includes the alpha-Mo_2C(100) surfaces,

A Study on the Reformed-Methanol Engine
<div class="htmlview paragraph">Selection of the optimum catalyst for the reformation of methanol, and static/dynamic characteristics of a spark ignition engine fueld with both gasoline and methanol reformed gas were studied. Tube test results on reforming characteristics show that a catalyst made of a base metal works best.

A study on a steam reformer for methanol.
The purpose of this study is to provide the thermal design criteria for a steam reformer for methanol which is available for recovering the waste heat of a gas turbine and an automobile engine. For this purpose, reforming were investigated with both of experiments and analyses.

Dry Reforming of Methane – Review of Feasibility Studies
Starting from carbon dioxide and methane, the dry reforming of methane produces synthesis gas which is a mixture of hydrogen and carbon monoxide. Although this concept has many environmental and economic incentives, unfortunately, there are no commercial
