High‐Pressure Synthesis of Crystalline double‐layer Carbon Nitride Networks Stabilized in Bi7C10N18(N3(1‐ x )O3 x )

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, Accepted Article.
Application of high‐pressure conditions in chemical synthesis has proven to access a wide range of novel nitrogen‐rich compounds and to overcome the stability of the dinitrogen molecule. In the present work, we report the high‐pressure high‐temperature (HPHT) synthesis of Bi7C10N18(N3(1‐x)O3x), which features double‐layers of poly‐N‐(1,3,5‐triazin‐2‐yl)

Janus‐Type Photophysics of Rotational Isomers in a Diphenylanthracene Dimer

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, Accepted Article.
Organic molecular dimers serve as valuable model systems for manipulating and exploring interchromophore interactions. However, the structural flexibility introduced by linker or chromophore rotation gives rise to conformational isomers with distinct atomic arrangements, complicating the interpretation of photophysical processes.

Biodegradable Polyesteramide Films for Pervaporative Dehydration of Isopropanol–Water

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Polyesteramides are biodegradable polymers possessing good mechanical properties with potential applicability in membrane separations. In this work, polymer films from ε‐caprolactam and ε‐caprolactone‐based polyesteramides were prepared at a ratio of monomer units set so that the resulting copolymer had a low crystalline phase content.
