Methods of Debonding Ceramic Brackets

British Journal of Orthodontics, 1992
The problem of debonding ceramic brackets is still one which concerns the orthodontist. It is advisable to use the manufacturers recommended method of debonding each particular type of bracket. The risks of using such brackets need to be carefully assessed against the benefits. Risks can be minimized by carefully assessing the patient and the dentition,

High‐order iterative bracketing methods

International Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering, 2013
SUMMARYThis paper presents high‐order, single‐point, iterative methods for the numerical solution of the general non‐linear equilibrium equation. The methods are designed so that the approximations provided by the iterative process alternate about the targeted root, thus providing progressively better upper, as well as lower bounds on the sought root ...

Interactive Virtual Bracket Positioning Method in Orthodontics

2020
In the process of orthodontics, accurate bracket positioning is a necessary condition to quickly obtain the ideal treatment result. We propose a virtual bracket-interaction method based on the Layered Depth-Normal Images (LDNI) and the point set matching.

A Comparison of the Method of Brackets with the method of Negative Dimension

Negative dimensional integration is a method of evaluating Feynman diagrams. The method of brackets is an improvement on existing algorithms. These methods are compared for the ”flying saucer” diagram.

Brackets: a method for definite integration

Summary: The method of brackets is an integration method with origins in the evaluation of Feynman diagrams. It consists of a small number of rules, some of which are still at the heuristic level. This work contains examples which illustrate this method. Elementary as well as more involved definite integrals are discussed.

The Application Based on Bracket Method for Planar Computational Geometry

2009 International Joint Conference on Computational Sciences and Optimization, 2009
In this paper, we study two basic problems about planar computational geometry with bracket method. One is how to judge whether a point is inside a given convex polygon, the other is how to compute the convex hull of planar points. The key idea of our criteria is to use the bracket, which is made up of the homogeneous coordinates for points, to carry ...
