Aqueous polymerization of methyl methacrylate. III
Journal of Polymer Science: Polymer Chemistry Edition, 1983AbstractThe aqueous polymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA) initiated by potassium persulfate (I)‐thiomalic acid (TMA) redox couple has been studied at 30 ± 0.2°C under nitrogen atmosphere. The rate of polymerization is given by up to 20.0 mmol/L TMA concentration, where x = 0.52 for the I concentration 0.6–10 mmol/L and x = 0.27 for higher I ...

Copolymerization of N-vinylindole with methyl methacrylate and methacrylic acid
Polymer Science U.S.S.R., 1967TH~ production of new copolymers enabling the properties of previously known homopolymers to be modified has recently been a major aim in the study of polymeric compounds. Information is available in the literature regarding the copolymerization of certain N-vinyl monomers: N-vinylearbazole [1], N-vinyl-laetam [2] and N-vinylphthalimide [3]. However no

Compatibilization of blends of polybutadiene and poly(methyl methacrylate) with butadiene-methyl methacrylate diblock copolymers has been investigated by transmission electron microscopy. When the diblock copolymers are added to the blends, the size of PB particles decreases and their size distribution gets narrower.
